I was a general surgeon specializing in trauma and cancer surgery who was diagnosed in 2000 at the age of 41 with a malignant brain tumor (grade 4 glioblastoma). Following a year of treatment and rehab I changed careers and went into occupational medicine since surgery was no longer an option for me. I published a biographical account of my life experiences entitled THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SCALPEL. I also had some of my poetry published in two books of poetry. My hobbies include golf and travelling with my wife. I enjoy writing, giving medical presentations and teaching as well as actively managing my own financial portfolio.
Listed skills include Medicine, Surgery, Treatment, Internal Medicine, and 2 others.
