Working as a Junior Legal Counsel within the Corporate and Superannuation Trustee Services business unit at Equity Trustees I have exposure to matters in the corporate, funds management, financial services and regulatory sectors. I am a committed and detail-oriented junior lawyer. My role is centred around contract review, negotiation and drafting. I am able to comprehensively review an array of fund related documentation such as constitutions, investment management agreements and product disclosure statements. Working for a fiduciary, my primary responsibility is to ensure that the business considers the best interests of investors in all decisions which are made. Through my review of contracts I identify risks which need to be considered by the business from both a fiduciary and commercial perspective. I have a passion for driving standards and encouraging those around me to be the best version of themselves. I thrive working in a team environment and relish the opportunity to work under pressure to achieve positive outcomes.
