The University of Manchester Students’ Union is the largest students’ union in the country supporting 40,000 students. Its activities include commercial venues, shops, fundraising, voluntary work, political campaigning and student advice.Communications and PR Assistant: responsible for traditional PR, social media and all digital communications.• Led and implemented the PR strategy for the ‘Reclaim the Night’ music festival and political march. Gained coverage online and in the local media including the Manchester Evening News.
