Responsibilities includes communicating with sales rep and Latter Day Saints Church Designers in the beginning stages of product development. Reviewing all designs (designer rough sketch or photo) to determine if product can be manufactured. Assist with all design aspects, engineering, finish development, hardware development and quotes. Maintain progress reports for each contract project in Excel format. Release contract projects to domestic/overseas manufacturers for production once the development stage is complete.2007-2012 Senior Product Engineer IV: Responsibilities include utilizing AutoCAD Mechanical 2011 adding construction to full size drawings. Additional responsibilities included creating detailed specification sheets the overseas vendors uses for constructing the product. Point of contact for the oversea vendor to address questions and/or clarify questions pertaining to product design and construction in order to ensure the sample information is accurate and provided in a timely manner. Inspect samples received by the oversea vendors to ensure products meet Henredon requirement standards. Conduct Marketing Reviews at High Point showroom reviewing each item in depth with oversea vendor to assure all issues are corrected prior to first production.
