I started off my career working in sales, customer service and as a service desk analyst at a tech startup. While doing this work I discovered my passion for economics, politics and business, spending almost every free moment learning, researching and debating ideas trying to understand these fields. As time went on I realised that I wanted to work in a field where I could use some of the knowledge and understanding I have gained. To expand my understanding and have an excuse to spend all day learning, I studied a bachelor of government and international relations at Griffith majoring in public policy and economics. While going through that degree I realised that the area of government that interests me the most is Australia's relationship with other countries, primarily in trade. I hope to one day work at the Department of Foreign Relations and Trade.
