Cultivate Energy Optimization contracted me to work on energy consumption problems in the cannabis industry and advise indoor agriculture facilities in regards to their energy usage. My role involves providing energy efficiency assessments and recommendations to indoor grow facilities within a broad range of business sectors while also implementing and reaching goals for various energy saving programs developed in collaboration with utilities and state, county, and city governments. I also provide support and expertise on any sustainability related initiatives, designs, and community/stakeholder engagement.

The NCIA environmental committee was formed to document the environmental impacts, best management practices, and policy considerations necessary to position the cannabis industry as a leader in environmental sustainability at the local, state, and national levels.

Used research methods to analyze and provide recommendations for corporate sustainability projects and programs.
