I am a Full-stack web developer with a Computer Science Diploma from Douglas College and a certificate Lighthouse Labs, where I learned DevOps and Software Development skills.Proficient in the fundamental trio of front-end technologies – JavaScript, HTML, and CSS – I bring creativity and precision to crafting seamless user interfaces. On the back end, my expertise extends to utilizing the power of Postgres and Rails for robust and scalable server-side solutions. I am well-versed in React for building dynamic and responsive web applications, complemented by Express for creating efficient and performant server-side applications.In my continuous pursuit of excellence, I am currently expanding my toolkit by diving into the world of TypeScript for enhanced code reliability and maintainability. Embracing the future of web development, I am mastering Next.js for building production-ready React applications, and Prisma for simplifying database access and management. My curiosity has also led me to explore tRPC and HTMX, promising technologies that elevate the overall development experience. Excited about the endless possibilities in the tech landscape, I am committed to staying at the forefront of innovation and delivering solutions that push boundaries.In my most recent role at Foundry, I facilitated one-on-one counselling and group activity sessions for clients with various mental health challenges. I also designed an information pamphlet for a public event to raise awareness and reduce stigma. I contributed to the team's goal of providing compassionate and holistic care for our clients, while also applying my technical skills to improve the efficiency and security of the IT systems.
