I am a passionate and driven Architectural Graduate currently living and seeking work opportunities in Brisbane, Australia. In 2022, my Masters thesis 'The Architectures of Sound and Space', received the Feilden Dodd award for 'Outstanding Work'. I am deeply interested in the philosophies of architecture and the use of abstract design to create unique and compelling spaces. After completing my Part II studies I began working as a Part II Architectural Assistant at BPTW in Greenwich, London.I studied architecture at Sheffield Hallam University for my Undergraduate, where I received a first class degree with honours. To this day I still maintain a strong relationship with Sheffield Hallam and participate in their mentor scheme. During my Part 1 placement I worked at Mass Architecture in York. This placement involved small scale private residential projects and a number of commercial projects, it provided me with a good insight into client relations and the day to day of residential design. I then moved to Oxford Brookes to study for my Postgraduate degree in architecture and applied design. During this period, I completed a specialisation in Urban Design and produced my award winning design thesis 'The Architectures of Sound and Space'. After leaving university I started my position at BPTW as a Part II architectural assistant and began to study for my Part III qualification. At BPTW I work on large projects that range from residential masterplans to student accommodations, focusing on the earlier work stages and concept design phases. I have also taken on the role of work experience mentor and do my best to encourage the next generation to pursue a career in architecture. In 2022 I setup my own architecture Instagram, 'The Architecture Shuttle', which allows me to experiment with new forms of visualisation and representation and continue my research into the theoretical aspects of architecture. A keen interest of mine is image generating AI and its potential application to speculative and abstract architectural studies.
