I began with Anchor Shoring / GFL in July 2011 where i began to weld and learned to repair Baure tooling and other drilling equipment. later i supervised the shop ensuring correct tooling got fixed properly and in an orderly fashion, as well as training new welders. After about 4 years i moved from the yard to the field where i began learning soil retention systems. i have seen many sides of the shoring industry including but not limited to, tie back connections, rakers, wailer (top, face, stubbed), corner bracing, pile driving, pile splicing, sheet piling, tooling repair, lagging, front end work, operation of smaller equipment, vertical drilling, and horizontal drilling. I also spent about 2 years running jobsites, from large scale cassion wall projects, to small isolated piling projects.
