Lrv Electro Mechanic
CurrentReconstruct Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) body, including windows, interiors, control panels, and exterior bodywork. Perform LRV re-railing operations and other emergency procedures. Fabricate LRV components as necessary in order to effect repairs and meet revenue service. Utilize shop tools and test equipment such as wheel true machine, tire press, and electronic test equipment. Troubleshoot and repair vehicle electrical and electronic systems including but not limited to propulsion, braking, cab signal, train control systems, door systems, intercoms, and public address systems. Inspect, service, test, maintain and troubleshoot vehicle mechanical systems and car-shell, including but not limited to HVAC, drive units, trucks, couplers, and brake systems. Managed heavy line rebuilding operations, including but not limited to truck frame traction motor splitting, primary/secondary suspension replacement, wheel bearing/ tire pressing.
