While the primary LAN Admin was unavailable during the year, I was able to handle the Vicksburg mill and all other facilities without outside assistance.Along with project work, continuous work on SDM requests, identifying spares, fixing SCCM, dealing with virus outbreaks, computer rebuilds, etc., I assumed responsibility for site inventory by developing and implementing a more accurate method of inventory management and storage/organization practices. I also took initiative to get SDM ticket queue under control by questioning status and/or offering assistance on old tickets in an effort to resolve and close.In 2021, I was tasked with taking full responsibility of the Vicksburg Mill and surrounding locations with the retirement of the other LAN Admin. While searching for a replacement to fill this role, I operated as the sole Regional Support representative for these sites (the first 5-6 months of the year). Along with my regular duties, I have worked on and successfully completed a large number of projects all while training my new co-worker.Most recently, following the retirement of our site Business Information Manager (BIM), I have voluntarily taken on many of the BIM responsibilities in an effort to keep the mill IT processes running smoothly with no interruptions in service.
