• Consult location administrators on payroll, time and attendance, and taxation issues • Perform configuration changes in the Info Workforce Management (Work brain) application, to include changes to pay rules, accruals, attendance control, and user security • Partner with the Time and Attendance technical team on application upgrade projects, and assist with defining requirements for various application development initiatives • Manage Time and Attendance requests through the ServiceNow ticketing system, and resolve those requests within the customer service level agreement timeline • Work with third party vendors to manage unemployment insurance rates • Heavily involved in year-end payroll processing and W-2 preparation • Understand & stay informed of labor agreement changes that may impact payroll • Payroll overpayment management • Payroll reporting for multiple internal customers • Partner with Finance to ensure Stock Options are taxed properly • Review tax reporting prepared by third-party vendor to ensure data integrity • Manage and partner the Payroll Check Escheat process with Corporate Tax team • Special projects as assigned by Payroll Operations management

RESPONSIBILITES • Process payroll for about 2,000 hourly employees. • Correct payroll errors not completed by the plant to ensure payroll is submitted correctly and on time. • Help with salary payroll issues, collecting overpayments and processing as needed. • Work with Plant Leadership and Union representatives on resolving problems with payroll, attendance, FMLA, short-term disability, grievances, and contract issues. • Serve as main help chain for plant-wide issues with payroll, work brain and overtime. • Directly engage with HR Staff on issues with payroll, attendance, FMLA short-term disability, grievances, and contract issues. • Implement and conduct work brain training for salaried employees. • Communicate payroll system improvements and the adding of new features to departments. • Work with Alight and Corporate on payroll issues that cannot be fixed locally. • Process various reports daily, weekly, monthly, and annually to ensure payroll is processed properly. • Local system administrator and expert for Work Brain, Davenport overtime system, grievance tracking system, manpower and Morning Star. • Maintain compliance for SOX auditing. • Lead location preselection process and end of year payroll process. ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Providing data to help with local and master contract negotiations. • Developing and implementing a process to stop suspected FMLA abuse. • Compiling information on overtime hours and cost to help reduce overtime plant-wide. • Creating work instructions and training plan for work brain supervisors. • Making several improvements to the payroll coordinator role and process.
