Hello and thanks for reading! Im Mitchell and I am passionate about education, PE and school sport and developing young people to be the best they can be. I started my teaching journey 9 years ago. I began as an unqualified PE teacher and over the last 9 years have worked my way up to now proudly say I hold QTS status I have previously been the Head of Physical Education and currently I am head of Science.I am also a fully qualified FA level 1 football coach. I have coached boys sides from under 10’s - under 15’s. I have also coached and managed men’s side who have played at a high standard of Saturday football. I took up this role after I had to stop playing due to injury however I have been lucky to play a few games since. Aside from teaching, I am a keen runner, gym goer and real family oriented person. I enjoy a good walk and discovering new places. I have experience in running social media pages both professionally at work and in a more informative way for football. I also hold a full gym instructors and sports nutrition qualification and graduated Canterbury Christchurch University with a degree in Sports Science and then went back to complete my PGCE which I passed at level 7.
