Teaching high school Science and Mathematics (including Magellan extension classes) within a 7-12 ACT public school implementing the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program in conjunction with the Australian Curriculum.In 2018, designed and ran the new Magellan STEM extension program for Year 9-10 students, incorporating advanced mathematics, advanced science and digital technology in an incorporated project-based framework to provide additional opportunities for gifted and talented students.In 2019, as Gifted and Talented Liaison Officer, running a similar program for students in years 5-6 at local primary schools and coordinating gifted and talented opportunities in the High School such as the da Vinci Decathlon.In 2020, taught colleagues about the use of online platforms, developed online flipped learning modules for Year 10 Sciences and Year 8 Mathematics during the COVID-19 pandemic, and coached in the CyberTaipan Cybersecurity Competition.

Teach for Australia is part of a global movement dedicated to breaking the cycle of disadvantage through teaching and leadership in education.Associates are selected from non-education backgrounds and placed in secondary schools teaching in their area of expertise as they are supported to gain a Masters of Teaching and improve their teaching practice to proficient level during the two-year program.
