CurrentI have just completed my role as the WHS&E Advisor on the Pacific Cape, age care facility for RCC in Forster NSW. It was a great project with a great team who I really enjoyed working with. During this project I spent time mentoring the onsite young and inexperienced workers with short talks explaining not only the required onsite safety, documentation and procedures but how these actual help to create a safer work environment. I also including additional training sessions with our non English speaking subcontractor through an interpreter (who was a great help) to ensure that they fully understood what was expected from them during the project. The most enjoyable aspect of these additional sessions was the feedback and inclusion of the employees in these verbally as they became more comfortable with each presentation.
