I am a sophomore at Indiana University in the Kelley School of Business, and I am currently looking to major in finance and accounting, and I’m looking to minor in economics. I am an extremely hard worker and this shows within my school work. I put in many hours studying to make sure my grades are up, while also finding time to put aside for my social life. Along with being a diligent worker, I also am really good with people. I feel like I am a fairly easy person to work with and I thrive in group settings.I believe that my basketball experience growing up has helped mold me into the driven man that I am today. I played basketball through my senior year of high school, and it taught me leadership, teamwork, and most of all how to persevere through adversity. My sophomore year I had to undergo knee surgery and I had a lengthy recovery. This helped to teach me resiliency and perseverance.I can see myself working within the finance industry in the future either in wealth management or financial analysis.
