Building on his success as Strategic Growth Lead and his collaboration with Tiko’s platform partners, Mitch seamlessly transitioned into the newly created role of Partnership Development Lead. In this role, he designed, tested, and implemented Tiko’s Partnership Development Hub—a comprehensive initiative to strengthen the capacity of grassroots partners and provide a robust support framework for Tiko's critical on-the-ground efforts.Following the impact of the Partnership Hub in Kenya, Mitch is now leading the roll out and ongoing development across all Tiko markets.

Tiko (previously known as Triggerise) believes in a world where all youth have the power to choose where, when, and how they meet their sexual reproductive health needs. Our digital platform delivers scalable and verifiable sexual reproductive health services for young people in 5 main markets in Sub Saharan Africa - Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, South Africa and Burkina Faso. We work together with local communities and use nudges like reminders, discounts, and reward points to encourage our users to access and use sexual and reproductive health services. We also support our users in becoming micro-entrepreneurs and adding value to their economies.As Strategic Growth Lead, Mitch spearheaded key initiatives to drive Tiko's growth and impact, including: Rebranding and Market Launch: Led the creation and rollout of Tiko’s new brand positioning and identity, successfully launching it across all markets.Engagement and Rewards Strategy: Designed a scalable Mobiliser engagement and rewards framework, fostering deeper connections and enhancing impact across diverse markets.Demand Generation: Developed a robust strategy to grow Tiko’s membership base and expand access to health services.User-Centered Design Research: Led platform partner UCD workshops and research to better understand the needs of our community-based organizations (CBOs). Designed and developed a capacity-building hub within Tiko to empower CBOs, enhancing their effectiveness and impact as grassroots organizations. These key pieces of work positioned Mitch to take on the new role of Partnership Development Lead, further advancing his partner research and developing the Partnership Development Hub at Tiko.

Mitch played a key part in driving the process from concept to execution, taking on responsibilities such as strategic direction, creative ideation, presenting to clients, budgeting and financial management, client and supplier relations, production oversight, and data-driven project reporting.The projects he led spanned a diverse range of outputs, including events and product launches, curated spaces and experiences, film and photography shoots, sponsorship and influencer collaborations, digital strategy and execution, and research proposals. By managing projects end-to-end, Mitch became a highly versatile professional, capable of delivering value across varied environments and tasks while excelling in adaptability and problem-solving.
