Sales / Applications Engineer with over 24 Years of experience in the Food and Dairy Industry with expertise in USDA and FDA design utilizing 2D AutoCAD & Solid works 3D modeling software. My core rating position required me to be a project leader and project supervisor for many construction missions within a hostile environment. These duties would cover K-span construction, Bailey Bridge Construction, Rapid Runway Repair, concrete laydown projects, timber tower construction, and general “stick” building. At one point I was training Afghan National Army soldiers in helping them obtain construction and drafting skills. In addition, I was trained as the Command Manager of Equal Opportunity (CMEO) for the battalion of five hundred personnel. As a CMEO I was responsible in gauging the morale and welfare of the military personnel and to identify any areas of sexual misconduct or biases. As the CMEO I would directly work alongside the Executive Officer (Lieutenant Commander rank) of the Battalion and present my findings to the Commanding Officer (Commander/ Captain rank) every six months.

Any errors or questions that may develop would be directed through me during this process.• I would also be required to inspect and perform quality assurance once the project was completed.After 8 years I was then promoted to the Sales Engineering Department to Pre-Engineer and develop conceptual drawings of new equipment to assist Sales Agents in obtaining new sales. These tasks included:• Pre Engineer and develop 120 concept drawings each year which relate to USDA food cutting, processing, and size reduction machines. Half of the workload focuses on sales drawings of standard equipment and the other half would be of custom designed.• Schedule meetings with the customer and sales agents to develop the product line and document the customer’s requirements.• Work with the Estimating Department in developing an accurate price based on concept drawing for potential customers.• Communicate the design intent and the customer’s expectations to the Engineering department. Follow up with the 3 member Engineering team throughout the design development of the project to ensure the project meets the customer’s requirements.• To be flexible with the Sales schedule and President of Sales when tasks change at a moment’s notice in order to meet promised quote dates to returning customers.• Maintain flexible work hours with oversea customers and sales agents by working late nights and weekends.

In June 1992 I attended Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois and was recommended from a non-designated rating to Aviation Ordnance “A” School in Millington, Tennessee. On November 25th, 1992 I graduated 2nd in my class as an Aviation Ordnanceman and was given orders to serve onboard USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71 in Norfolk, Virginia.As an Airman Apprentice I was designated as weapons handler and maintenance technician on ground support equipment, also known as Yellow Gear. I participated in Operation Deny Flight in both 1993 and 1995 and later evolved to Operation Deliberate Force on August 28, 1995.In September 2001, I enlisted in the United States Navy Reserves under the CB Vet program as a designated Builder Third Class Petty Officer. I was assigned to Navy Mobile Construction Battalion 25 in Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. In January 2006 I was called to Active Duty in Support of Operation Enduring Freedom per Presidential Executive Order. Where I was deployed and cross-assigned with NMCB-40 to Bagram Afghanistan. On September 15th, 2011 I was given authority to assume the title of Chief Petty Officer and was reassigned as Administrative Manager of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Two Five along with Command Management of Equal Opportunity.In January 2014 I was again recalled to Active Duty in Support of Operation Enduring Freedom per Presidential Executive Order. I was deployed with NMCB-25 to Kabul Afghanistan. During this period, I was the lead supervisor for Afghan National Army (ANA) Survey & Design class from at Camp Ghazi.After Demobilization I was assigned in Green Bay WI, as the as the Assistant Officer in Charge of 35 member detachment of NMCB-25. I led and supervised this group from Oct 2014 to Sep 2016. Under my leadership 8 members were promoted to the next paygrade, one of which was promoted to Chief Petty Officer. In October 2016 I retired. -
