Employed as a Senior Student Leader with UOW Accommodation Services Sector Kooloobong Village. As a Senior Student Leader I assist and support the Student Leaders who run activities and as a group we look after the wellbeing of approximately 1250 residents. I have a team of 10 people and we are responsible for the residents of one building. The Senior Student Leader role is diverse and includes attending weekly meetings with management, mentoring my student leaders, supporting and assisting residents through crisis’s (both major and minor), creating rosters, dealing with building maintenance, and also being on call. This role involved comprehensive training.

Wollongong

Assist with running activities for approximately 1250 residence in the Village. On duty approximately once every 10 days where I am on call to look after a building (250 people) and attend and resolve any issues. I'm responsible for 22 residents for their entire stay at Kooloobong Village, this involves ensuring they are coping with university life and checking on their mental and physical wellbeing. This role involved comprehensive training. Student Leaders are responsible for facilitating a sense of community amongst the residents as well as being a source of academic, personal and social advice and support.

Employed at the UOW Well-Being Centre as an ambassador. I helped run activities for UOW students such as BBQ’s, RU Ok? Day events, a Safe and Respectful Cube initiative and various other activities for the well-being of university students.
