Jamaica

Exploring for copper gold porphyry deposits in central Jamaica. This included mapping, core shed supervision with two man portable drill rigs. I was also managing a large field crew doing soil sampling, pad preparation an rehabilitation. As part of a small team, I was involved in community engagement, external relations, logistical planning, environmental reporting and human relations.

Carrapateena / Mount Woods Inlier

2 Year Graduate Program - First year in the Mount Woods Inlier doing regional exploration in the tenements around the Prominent Hill IOCG deposit. Second year on the Stuart Shelf drill out of Khamsin and Fremantle Doctor along with drilling and other studies of the Carrapateena IOCG deposit.

Mount Woods Inlier

Exploration based at Prominent Hill working on the past joint venture between OZ Minerals and IMX Resources. Tasks included outcrop and core sampling in preparation for my Honours project in the Mt Woods Inlier, plus an introduction to all aspects of exploration including core processing, target selection, geological logging, diamond drilling techniques and drill site preparation.
