I've been involved in a broad range of electrical work though my time, mainly large commercial and infrastructure construction projects with a bit of domestic and industrial work thrown in. In the last few years I have been doing more Industrial install, motor control, automation, breakdown service and maintenance of Industrial machinery and Rail track machines. I have also been involved with building and testing switchboards, motor control panels, PFC cabinets, automatic change over switches and logic panels. Currently I'm on a project in Brisbane Testing and Commissioning the new fleet of trains before they are put onto the rail network.

While with them I was on several large jobs from complete office block refurbs, hotel and apartment complex construction to high rise office block and shopping centre construction. Towards the end of my time with Star they were running out of work so I was place on hire to Downer EDI where I spent around 4 weeks on the Lucas Heights Nuclear reactor project and around 6 months on the Cross City Tunnel Project working underground. In my fourth year there was not enough work and I was released to Electrogroup to complete my apprenticeship.
