Executive Creative Director
Creative Director
Semi Permanent is the largest and longest-running creativity and design festival in the southern hemisphere, for which I led creative direction, program curation, marketing strategy, and production, both locally and abroad, with recent projects spanning Sydney, Wellington, Abu Dhabi and Porto. Additionally, I was the creative lead for the agency arm of the business, SP Brand Studio, working with clients such as Audi, City of Melbourne, Dropbox, Future Super, Genesis Motors, Gucci, Hismile, Incu, KPMG, Pernod Ricard Winemakers, Sea Forest and Squarespace on innovative experiential marketing projects and brand campaigns that added value to their business through the lens of contemporary culture.
Editor In Chief
In my role as Editor-in-Chief, I oversaw all aspects of Esquire’s print, digital and social content, managed its local team and operations, and oversaw brand extensions and new business opportunities, such as events, e-commerce and video production, for the flagship Southeast Asian edition of the title. Working with the president of the company and with Hearst International, I was responsible for the creative success and business profitability of the title. In my time at Esquire Singapore, I initiated a print redesign and editorial refresh; conceptualised, programmed and produced a multi-day hybrid digital-physical festival, Esquire Neighbourhood, which saw significant YOY revenue and audience growth; launched a men's health and wellbeing vertical, Esquire Health Club; oversaw a website redesign and worked to pivot the quality of digital traffic, achieving more than 51% year-on-year increase in user average session duration and a 34% year-on-year reduction in average bounce rate; launched the magazine's first-ever fiction special, commissioning six Singaporean or Singapore-based authors to create original works of fiction; and produced bespoke creative content and commercial solutions for brand partners including Gucci x The North Face, Longines, Ermenegildo Zegna, Volkswagen, Penfolds, Leica and Saint Laurent.
Global Content & Creative Director
I led a large in-house team, and a vast international network of agencies and partners, to set the tone for and maintain the brand’s consumer and trade presence, and help lead a global fibre reappraisal as a way of increasing demand for natural, Australian-grown Merino wool. I was responsible for the direction of brand image, communications and project management, including, but not limited to, global and regional marketing campaigns, video, print publications, digital platforms, social media, events and co-branded partnerships, including those with Adidas, Boston Marathon, Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, Karl Lagerfeld, Jason Wu, Jacquemus, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Byborre and the World Surf League. The Woolmark Company, a subsidiary of Australian Wool Innovation Limited, is the global authority on wool. The company undertakes marketing campaigns and research and development within the global textile and fashion industries to drive demand for wool. The Woolmark Company and its affiliates are the proud owner of the world-renowned Woolmark logo, the world’s best known textile fibre brand. Its key annual projects include the International Woolmark Prize, the historic design talent program.

Associate Curator
I was engaged by the Art Gallery of South Australia as Associate Curator for its Fashion Icons: Masterpieces from the Collection of the Musee des Arts Decoratifs exhibition, which ran from October 2014 until February 2015. In this role I worked collaboratively with the Australian gallery and Les Arts Decoratifs, Paris on the exhibition's accompanying public program, publications and wider communications strategy, helping to attract record-breaking audience numbers. Fashion Icons showcased more than 90 garments spanning eight decades by 55 of the world's leading designers, including Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Coco Chanel, Pierre Balmain and Paco Rabanne. Exclusive to Adelaide, the exhibition was drawn from the most comprehensive collection of French fashion in the world, the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, and was curated by the museum's chief curator of 20th and 21st centuries fashion and textiles, Pamela Golbin.
Project Editor - Bauer Custom Media
I was engaged as editor of two quarterly magazines created for the premium and flagship categories of national shopping centre group Westfield, and as senior writer for quarterly print and digital magazine Emporium, created for national department store Myer. In these roles, I lead a small team in creating world-class editorial content to help bring to life the clients' commercial offering. Myer Emporium engages 250,000 of the most loyal Myer One customers with its premium fashion and lifestyle content and has a proven record of driving sales. As the publishing partner for Westfield, the suite of magazines - with a combined circulation of close to 1.8 million - are targeted to speak to specific demographic audiences and were a special reward for shoppers, helping to drive traffic to the centres' retailers.
