• Developed a transmission for given gearing ratios of 75%, 55%, 25%, and a 25% reverse using the Romax software.
• Incorporated the gearing ratio calculations to produce helical gears with satisfactory life.
• Implemented minor adjustments to improve the life, lower mesh misalignments, and the material needed to obtain the life.
• Customized the transmission to where the bearings lives failed at the required life due to the fact that they are easily changed.
• Given satisfactory life: 1200 hours for forward motion and 250 for reverse motion
