At Brent International School Subic in the Philippines, I delved deep into English Literature, World History, and Theatre, earning an International Baccalaureate. My love for languages and teaching then led me to Hillsborough Community College in Florida, where I co-founded the Multicultural Club and earned an Associate Degree in English Education. I further pursued my education at the University of South Florida, majoring in English as a second language with a minor in Linguistics, and I'm currently on hiatus from completing my Bachelor’s in Education.Professionally, I've thrived in various roles, each strengthening my skills and expanding my expertise. At Capital One Bank, as a Customer Care Coordinator from January 2020- September 2024, I've been the frontline for addressing customer inquiries, processing credit card transactions, and offering tech support for online accounts. This role has honed my ability to provide solutions that are both effective and empathetic.Before joining Capital One, I served as a Professional Tutor at the University of South Florida Tutoring Lab. From January 2018 to January 2020, I crafted personalized lesson plans for subjects ranging from World History to English Literature.My journey also includes a stint at Computer Generated Solutions Networks (Dec 2017 - Dec 2018) as a Call Center Agent, where I excelled in customer service for Conair Corporation Products. Prior to that, from January 2015 to December 2017, I was a Warehouse Associate at Amazon Fulfillment Center, a role that enhanced my leadership and teamwork abilities in a high-paced environment.Fluent in Filipino and English, with intermediate skills in Spanish, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work. My hard skills range from excellent computer proficiency and CRM software expertise (Zendesk and Salesforce), to tech support and financial services knowledge.
