This role I am working on the delivery of the Package 2 Rail Programme which tasked with constructing 3 new rail stations in South Birmingham. Joining the project in the GRIP5 stage I have been involved in the development of detailed designs and beginning construction. Working closely with the SPM,Project Sponsor, Commercial Managers I have gained an vast array of experience working across the 3 stations. Particular examples include:- Managing the stakeholder relations particularly through the Section 278 process.- Contract management using CEMAR to raise EWN's, review programme submissions and manage compensation events- Regular reporting with both internal and external stakeholders including Network Rail and Birmingham City Council.- Engaging the local community to ensure they are kept up to date with progress whilst also receiving constructive inputs.

I founded a swim school based near Wolverhampton.Developing the school in my free time, I employed 6 staff members and had over 120 students attending the school on Sunday Mornings. The school was profitable and successful however the school whom I hired the pool off changed the terms of hire reducing the maximum number of children allowed in the pool and reducing the amount of time we could hire the pool for. This made the issue untenable for us and meant that despite the popularity of the school I decided to close the school.

- Lead all cycling and Walking Activities in the Black Country region.- Managed three subsidised bike projects: Bostin Bikes, Bostin Commuter and CANDO Bostin Bikesthroughout their entire lifecycles. My responsibilities in this role include:- Walking Lead for the West Midlands - Managing and coordinating all walking initiatives in the West Midlands including monitoring and evaluations of projects.- Managing the Walk It programme assessing the mobile app and website and ensuring it is fit for purpose.- Managing the LSTF programme for Dudley and Sandwell Local Authority areas- coordinating partner organisations including Local Authorities and Cycle Training Providers and ensuring provision and resources are allocated to areas where it will be most affective.- Conducting an Audit of all rail, metro and bus stations in the West Midlands as a part of the Safer routes to stations scheme. Using GIS and site visits the data will be used to identify areas of improvement and develop a strong project pipeline of developments for future use.

Black Country Consortium Ltd is the Secretariat for the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership.My role is to identify opportunities and develop ideas to aid in the development of the Black Country economy.- Investigate and launch new initiatives developed to progress the Strategic Economic Plan objectives around people, place and business using qualitative and quantitative analysis- Stakeholder engagement across a broad range of sectors including active travel, crime, business and school engagement, engineering and physical activity. Engaging with Local Authorities, businesses, schools and charities.- Representative on the Managing Short Trips infrastructure project ensuring project remained on budget and ahead of timescales. This assisted in securing additional funding from the LEP.- Analysed and condensed reports and presented the information to different audiences.- Ran investigations launching primary research into school and business engagement.- Manage and maintain the Strategic Companies Database directly contacting businesses to secure up todate information.- Attended and hosted events as part of the Black Country Skills Factory promoting STEM subjects toschool children.
