During my 4 years spent at Liverpool John Moores university, I worked 24 hours a week at footasylum. This job role introduced me to the world of upselling and having KPI’s implemented to measure my success in the sale of certain products and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This role presented my first glimpse into the world of consumerism and has aided my development and knowledge of how important buyer and seller relationships are. Whilst maintaining this job and completing a university degree, I’ve learnt the key skill that is time management and proved to myself that by using my free time well I can still achieve goals and meet deadlines, whilst having more than one responsibility to attend to.

During my time studying my A Levels qualifications, I visited various primary schools in my local area, delivering various sporting activities during lunch times, lessons, after school clubs, and summer camps to children aged from 5-11.I acquired many skills at a young age such as communication, as the job entailed speaking with other teachers, parents and the children themselves. Also presenting these classes allowed me to develop, not one just my presentation skills, but also safeguarding, money handling, and also just an outgoing nature. This job aided my confidence and independence as I was set the task handling a group of up to 30 individuals alone.
