Sr. Production Supervisor
CurrentExecute direct planning, organizing, coordinating and communicating all manufacturing related activities, which includes but not limited to implementation, standardization, design and/or those that in one way or another will affect the smooth flow of the operation. • Responsible for training, coaching and disciplining production workers as needed and also participate in regular performance appraisals and assist in the resolution of any employee disputes or grievances.• Supervise quality control programs to ensure that all products manufactured function properly and are free of defects.• Oversee the production process, looking for ways to improve efficiency.• Analyze inventory levels and supply needs.• Make recommendations for the updating and replacing of equipment necessary for production.• Ensure that the facility meets all production quotas and deadlines and manage all aspects of production to meet all budgetary guidelines.• Work with production planners, process/quality engineers and product development department to coordinate production activities with those of the entire manufacturing department.• Responsible for frequent communication with heads of other departments, including finance, sales and logistics to ensure that all efforts of the manufacturing company are coordinated and complementary as well as suppliers if problems with quality control are deemed to be associated with the quality of supplies.
