- Manage maintenance performed by 398 personnel from four maintenance sections, encompassing seven specialties, to include: Sheet metal repair specialists, Machinists, Welders, Aircraft crew chiefs, Jet engine mechanics, Non-Destructive Inspection personnel, and Aerospace Ground Equipment technicians. - Coordinate maintenance actions with 5 aircraft maintenance units to ensure the optimal use of personnel and resources. - Manage my organization’s production effort by identifying, prioritizing, and monitoring maintenance problem areas and solving adverse trends; ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent repeat and recurring malfunctions. - Advise the organization’s leadership on key issues that may affect our ability to maintain aircraft and equipment.
- Directly responsible for ensuring the preparation for shipment of more that 400 pieces of ground support equipment, their identification for use in the simulated deployed location(s), and their successful return to service post exercise. - Identified operational flying squadron’s equipment requirements at simulated deployed locations and identified what assets were in place to meet the needs of the flying squadrons, thus reducing the airlift footprint required.- Worked closely with upper level deployment executives to ensure equipment availability to meet aircraft generation and re-generation requirements.
- Supervised 29 personnel in performing servicing, delivery and production of maintenance and inspections on 412 pieces of Aerospace Ground Equipment valued at over $101 million. - Developed job standards and production controls, planned production requirements and organized priorities, monitored training of subordinates and ensured safety and supply discipline. Evaluated work performed in accordance with work standards and corrected substandard performance. Managed vehicle and training programs. Evaluated team performance through self-assessments and follow-up inspections and provided guidance to subordinates.
