As an intern in the R&D Engineering group I assisted in the develop and testing of wireless smart devices used in commercial lighting applications. Using C and python I created an interface capable of interacting with Bluetooth Mesh devices which was then applied for writing automated tests. I also created a custom plugin using C, Swift, and Java enabling cross-platform Cordova applications to communicate in a Bluetooth Mesh Network.

Worked with the testing technologies team developing projects that helped automate and support tests for software developed on site. Used Python and Java to improve readability and content of emails sent when tests fail, displaying specific failed comparisons. Used Python and database requests to automate the queuing of tests related to code files changed in git branches, improving the accuracy and efficiency of testing changes.

Developed a color test and color picker that helps users find a theme of colors depending on their personal tastes or project needs. Learned necessary tools to overcome technical challenges in integrating the employers color system with an easy to use interface for the best and most accurate user experience. Used JavaScript to develop the application, and HTML to integrate the application into the clients website. Also, communicated with the client throughout the process regarding design choices and project updates.
