Recently graduating from the University of South Australia, I am eager to enter the IT industry and develop my skills further. Specialising in networking and cybersecurity, I am passionate about delivering solutions to clients and ensuring all clients are protected whilst online. I have worked part-time at Woolworths for 3 years as a Personal Shopper. I have accepted a new role which will help reach my future goals in my life. However, this experience at Woolworths has allowed me to further my interpersonal skills and communication professionally with both peers and customers. Furthermore, my organisation and time management skills have developed in this role.My latest position was with PwC Australia. I was part of the Trust & Risk Assurance team specifically in Transformation Assurance. During my short time at PwC, I worked on many different projects and engagements. Being part of the Skilled Services Hub (SSH) in Adelaide, I worked closely with the Brisbane Transformation Assurance team and worked with Queensland clients.At PwC I learnt a wide range of new skills such as invoicing for all billable work done by our team. I also learnt skills relating to project delivery such as report creation, development and maintenance of workplans and document review and retention. At PwC I had the advantage of working closely with clients and attended many interviews where I improved my techniques of listing meeting minutes and active listening towards the client.Due to unfortunate circumstances with the SSH structure, many roles were made redundant, including my role.I am looking forward to seeing what new exciting opportunities are out there. I am always looking to improve my skillset in areas I have not had much experience in and I also look to expand my knowledge in the Information Technology industry.
