I completed a placement with the Canal and River Trust as a final year student volunteer. Using the skills and knowledge gained as a Q-Steps student, I produced my dissertation focused on the organisational factors which impact well-being amongst boaters in England and Wales. I was awarded a 1st (85) for my final report. Whilst on placement I also worked alongside the insights and evidence team by transforming and analysing data to then report back to the wider trust. I also got the opportunity to volunteer on our beautiful canals and waterways!
