Senior Data Migration Specialist with LexisNexis handling migration of data from various legacy systems as well as report scrapes and textual data to several leading Legal software packages provided by our company. Also general data manipulation duties as required for in-house projects.The role has provided extensive technical experience in Oracle and SQL Server databases as well as various key Data Migration skills such as data analysis, data integrity checking, end result validation and work estimation.Additional non-technical skills include stakeholder management, scheduling, work prioritisation and cross departmental liaising. Currently extending Python skills to allow more flexibility in manipulating data inside and outside database sources.

16 years as a core programmer in the development and maintenance of the Locus Practice Management System and associated products. Included software coding, report writing, testing, requirements gathering and interface design. The role also included data manipulation, both exporting from Locus and migrating data from external systems to the Locus database. Coding was carried out in a proprietry language as well as C++ and later Delphi (Object Pascal) with scripting for data manipulation mainly carried out with AWK.
