I handle a high case load, and am in Immigration court or Criminal court on a daily basis. I've appeared in Master Calendar, Merits, Pre-trials, Arraignments, and Bond hearings. I've had multiple cases approved including 212(c) relief, LPR cancellation, Cancellation of Removal, in addition to 601A waivers, U-visas, Etc.

Attend hearings on behalf of clients in immigration court, criminal courts, and various civil courts. Prepare and argue pleadings, application packets, motions, letters, and briefs for cases. Meet with clients to advise them of their rights, possible forms of relief, and preparing clients for court testimony.

Conduct client intakes relating to landlord/tenant law. Advise clients regarding proper notice and assisting with filing a complaint, answer, fee waiver, and motions and requests.

Researched and advised attorneys on issues relating to Cancellation of Removal, Adjustment of Status, Employment Visas, and other immigration related issues. Prepared Asylum applications, Pre-hearing Briefs, Motions, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) applications.

Verified and assessed client eligibility for Asylum applications, U-visa applications, VAWA self-petitions, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) applications. Prepared and followed up with clients regarding their applications. Advised attorneys of clients’ eligibility and possible bars to eligibility.

Conducted client intakes and identified client issues in matters of immigration, landlord/tenant rights, and family law. Researched clients’ issues to determine the proper representation required. Consulted with attorneys regarding clients’ cases and paired clients with low-cost/pro-bono legal representation.

Organized and lectured English lessons to Chinese business professionals. (1-100 students/class) Prepared individualized lesson plans and group lessons. Evaluated and promoted student growth throughout each lesson and gave constructive feedback to students.

Planned and delivered instruction to Korean elementary children. (2-20 students/class) Designed and oversaw student assessments. Prepared age appropriate lessons and created class presentations for students.
