Current- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt - Certified Six Sigma Black Belt- Use PLC automation software to review cycle times of automation. Use expertise to improve bottlenecks in order to increase throughput.- Plan, supervise and implement various automation project installations.- Managed and took leadership role in any equipment breakdowns that occurred during production and championed any necessary follow-up work required.- Maintained continuous communication with tooling suppliers, Ford Body Construction Engineering, Product Development, paint and final assembly in order to ensure continuous improvement was being made to the tooling and to the customer’s product.- Maintain back-up system for all automation programs and software.- Program new installations of body-shop tooling, conveyance systems and various electrical switches/components.- Reprogram automation when required due to engineering changes, error proofing installation and other various continuous improvements.- Independently troubleshoot all body-shop equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and product delivery efficiency.- Create, manage and implement maintenance routines and schedules to help decrease downtime and increase throughput.- Supervise and manage a work force of UAW skilled trades employees while creating a positive work environment leading to increased productivity and team morale.- Directly manage robotic and PLC automation performance, maintenance and quality during daily operations.- Vast understanding and knowledge of various automation technologies.
