Spent 36 years providing solutions to reliability problems. These solutions come in several forms: maintenance management consulting, educational instruction, and equipment troubleshooting.To deliver these solutions, I founded Pioneer Engineering in 2000. We rebranded the company to Red Wolf Reliability in 2023 when I turned over control of operations while still maintaining primary ownership. I founded its subsidiary company, Voyager Instruments, in 2017 with a mission is to bring to market proprietary products developed by the parent company. To that end we have been awarded two US patents focused on better techniques for monitoring the health of machinery fitted with fluid film bearings. We rebranded to Voyager Dynamics in 2023 to emphasize that we much more than a supplier of sensors. I still maintain operational leadership with Voyager.Additionally, I am a Professor and Associate Department Head for Undergraduate Studies in Mechanical Engineering at Colorado State University.
