Mitchell has almost two decades of experience in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Industrial Hygiene (IH) Management. After high school, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, came home, and served his community as a Law Enforcement Officer. He later reenlisted in the U.S. Army to serve his country once again. After coming home injured, he was given the opportunity to travel doing OSH/IH management, and his journey in safety began. Since then, he has worked with all significant crafts in fossil/combined cycle/nuclear power generation, industrial construction, and DOE sites. He has earned his undergraduate degree in OSH and will soon be graduating with his graduate degree in OSH. He has also acquired multiple board-approved certifications from BCSP, including the GSP, SMS, and CHST. Through his education and experience, he has become a leader in his field and an SME in numerous areas of expertise. Specializing in case management and investigations, Mitchell controls the case from the cradle to the grave. He identifies the root cause and creates programs and practices to prevent reoccurrences. This also allows him to provide guidance and education for companies and their workers.
