Managed a staff of five employees that were responsible for creating pricing exhibits, onboard new customers, and invoiced customers for the US commercial division of Equifax. Created custom pricing exhibits based on the customer organization’s needs. Onboarded the customer by verifying the completion of all required documentation and then setting up the customer’s access to services. Finally, my team verified the accuracy of the online billing and subscription billings and invoiced the ad hoc project billings. • Integrated the Billing systems of Equifax two commercial acquisition of PayNet and Ansonia’s into Equifax’s billings systems• Created and implemented a new billing policy for the Ansonia that generated over $750,000 in additional revenue • As part of Equifax’s transformation, I documented detail procedures and trained commercial staff on the new procedures and contracts.

Managed PayNet’s legal department prior to the merger with Equifax. Researched and reviewed applicable laws and regulations and advised managements on the effects of the laws and regulations on products and current processes. Drafted and negotiated Master Agreements, Statements of Work, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Supplier Agreements. Trained and educated the company’s business teams on legal issues and the contracting process. • Developed a playbook to respond to customer redlines of the master agreement and non-disclosure agreements • Managed legal resources and controlled costs by overseeing and allocating work between outside counsel and paralegals.• Managed PayNet’s voluntary disclosure process for multiple states enabling the company to avoid significant fines and back taxes through the process.

Managed the month end close process by initiating and processing journal entries and adjusting entries, reconciling the balance sheet accounts and maintaining the fixed assets records. Supervised the accounts payable and account receivable process. Supervised and trained accounting staff. • Implemented NetSuite ERP conversion from QuickBooks and an accounting system conversion from QuickBooks to NetSuite. • Issued consolidated financial statements to management and explained variances from budget.

As the staff accountant for an international lighting manufacture, I reconciled bank statements and various balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis and trued-up accrual accounts quarterly and annually. I maintained and balanced intercompany accounts. Created and issued financial and sales reports to management and worked with the departments to understand any variances. Maintained the Fixed Assets Ledger by working with the factories to determine if the expenditure need to be capitalized or expensed. • Created and maintained year end schedules for the auditors so that they would have all the documentation and support when they arrived. • Created efficiencies in the month-end close process thereby shortening the closing process from ten (10) days to four (4) days.
