-Was hands on in the planning and design of an implantable cervical cage to replace the intervertebral disk between the C2-C7 vertebrae. -Was principal designer of a Nucleous Pulposes Harvester tasked with an anterior approach of removing the intervertebral disc without puncturing the spinal cord of a donor. -Had designs and renderings of a spinal and neuro retractor blade/system referenced in a patent for a binocular viewing assembly in a surgical visualization system. -Redesigned a titanium bone screw and fixation method for a spinal cervical cage. -Created detailed solid models and prints of designs using Solidworks (2013, 2014, and 2015 Editions)

Responsibilities included a multiphase plan to start-up a new division for the Terex client, area setup, system training, process implementation, and 5 material transfers while incorporating 6 Sigma and CPS into the new client business and ensuring employees work safely.-Managed line volume increase from 200 to 2,000 outbound lines while maintaining the goal of 99.5% on time ship rate.-Implemented new picking strategy to eliminate UPS Ground orders from being held overnight.-Surpassed year end goals for lines per hour and lines per hour per year-Took the lead during a LeanQuest project that focused on the flow of inbound processes. Created a current state value stream map that exposed the unnecessary waste in the inbound process. Made changes to the inbound layout and processes to enable lines per hour to increase while decreasing the need for unused resources. The future state process improved lead-time by two and a half hours for the inbound parcel receiving procedure and lines per hour increased from 4.5 to 7.6.

Two of my primary jobs were to identify and assign risk to all Non-Core and Core 2 Processes for the High Performance Extrusions Group of Oxford. I captured these work elements one-by-one by working closely with operators and processors of each operation. I then wrote Standard Work for the operations that did not already have it. This allowed me to populate the Non-Core and Core 2 Databases with each operation and work element and ultimately assign risk.Though the previous jobs were my priority, I also conducted Risk Assessment Audits for every Core 1 operation and work element. This job also involved a close relationship between the operator, processor, and me to make sure that no work element needed changing, risk increasing, or risk decreasing. If nothing changed, evidence of the audit performed was documented in the Core 1 Risk Assessment Database. In the event that alterations needed to be made, I met with the processor of the operation to revise the Standard Work. After Standard Work was changed, I then could go to the Core 1 Risk Assessment Database to make the necessary corrections.
