About Mitchell Sylvia

At 16 years old, I began my college education at Bard College at Simon's Rock. There I completed my AA in Liberal Arts, with a heavy focus in Computer Science and Computer Engineering at age 18. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Science in Computer Engineering at UMass Amherst. At age 19, I joined Rivian Automotive as an Advanced Manufacturing Tools Intern in software.I believe in working hard, and making the world a better place for all, regardless of who you are, where you come from, or what you enjoy. I absolutely adore spreading my knowledge and experiences to help others in any way possible.My career interests lie in EVs, themed entertainment, consumer electronics, and artificial intelligence.In my free time, I enjoy 3D-printing prop replicas, playing guitar, photography, videography, skiing, playing tennis, running, playing golf, programming, learning new subjects, and working on motorcycles. My projects include:Muse, an iOS music sharing and streaming app that utilizes Apple Music and Spotify SDKs to offer a multi-platform seamless experience. Through this project, I am learning how to develop in the SwiftUI environment.I was the project head of the Simon's Rock Motorcycle Club electric motorcycle project. Here we are working on converting a Suzuki Katana 600 from petrol to electric power. The project has finished bench testing, and is moving towards full conversion.
