Responsible for overall onsite operations. Directing crew on the required day-to-day responsibilities; coordination of production, maintenance, parts orders, quality control, collaborating with direct supervisor, management, and sub-contractors. Operation of surface mining equipment onsite.Health and Safety: Ensuring adherence to workplace policies and standard work procedures for risk identification, risk assessment, and risk control. Maintain a high level of health and safety performance through effective communication, monitoring and revision of standard work procedures. Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries, and property damage at the workplace. Participate in all scheduled health and safety meetings and trainings. Environment: Ensuring adherence to environmental policy, work standards, management plans and regulatory obligations and requirements. Integrating environmental policies, programs, and practices into all activities of the organization. Maintain a high level of environmental awareness among workforce through meetings, environmental programs and drills.Production: Supervising operators to ensure consistent plant utilization and plant performance, while promoting a safe work culture. Perform regular inspections of all plant areas to ensure best operating practices are followed. Diagnose plant operating deficiencies and bring resolutions to processing issues. Performing routine inspections of plant equipment to ensure safe operating condition and effectiveness and diagnose operating defects and identify root cause and coordinate maintenance. Clean aggregate stockpile management. Reporting on shift activities and performance indicators to management on a daily basis.Maintaining a positive team dynamic and chemistry.
