QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS• Carries out efficiently and very accurately mechanical design and drafting of P&ID’s, equipment layouts, pipe design layouts and all other mechanical drawings from conceptual stage through to commissioning for Capital and O&M projects.• Equipment sizing, material selection, engineering calculations• Construction Specifications, Issue Tenders, Project Briefs, evaluate and manage equipment and construction contracts, create and issue service agreements.• Ability to create and understand flow diagrams and P&ID’s• Great knowledge of piping systems and components• Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills• Excellent computer skills utilizing MS Office Suite, Outlook, MS Project, AutoCad, Pro-Cad – Auto-Flow, Auto-Ortho, Auto-Iso, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat• Seasoned knowledge and 10+ years’ experience in various drafting techniques.• Excellent communication with management team, project engineers, contractors, local authorities and clients• Team player with ability to work with minimal supervision.• Demonstrates excellent leadership/management skills through supervision of contractors/sub-contractors during on-site project monitoring, owner site representative • Performs project field inspections, construction supervision, project monitoring. Tailboards, FLAH’s, safety, daily field reports, project team reviews, health and safety committee, incident investigations• Can prioritize and schedule conflicting workloads• Strong commitment to personal safety and safe work practices
