I have many years of mechanical technical knowledge gained through work experience and personal ventures. I successfully co-ran a gym equipment business where all equipment was designed from the ground up and manufactured in-house. This grew my skills at creating efficient designs, proactively determining design flaws, working in a team, and product and material sourcing. My work as a freelance draughtsman familiarized me with working to clients’ specifications and meeting deadlines. I have hands-on experience using mills, lathes, and other manual tooling. I started working with motorcycles at a young age, exposing me to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. This experience has honed my problem-solving and fault-finding abilities. I have permanently immigrated to the United Kingdom from South Africa on an ancestral visa and I have right to work.
