My responsibilities involve managing all copy content related to merchandise on the e-commerce Website. This includes managing relationships with the buying groups, the sample turn-in process for each catalog, competitive and vendor research, developing copy concepts, and writing copy.Merchandise content includes: product descriptions (high-end catalog style), shopping guides, size charts and other product-specific copy, brand, trend and gift descriptions, as well as feature editorial and promotional copy.

I was hired to serve dual positions of cashier and carryout. Depending on workflow and necessity, I may fulfill the responsibilities of either position.While cashiering, I am to serve as an inviting representative of Menards, ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout. I must also maintain the integrity of store policies and contribute to the overall security of the front-end department.While performing carryout duties, I am responsible for the gathering and proper distribution of carts to their respective strategic locations throughout the store. Additionally, I must remain available for any requested assistance to store guests.

My internship was conducted through the UW-Whitewater's College of Letters and Sciences Advising Office. I worked in close collaboration with the advising coordinator to revamp the College of Letters and Sciences Degree Planning Guide. My job involved designing page layout, editing content, and rewriting copy through Adobe InDesign.
