Maintain and support the Town's VMWare environment.Maintain and support the Town's fibre SAN infrastructure.Maintain, support and install both physical and virtual Servers based on the Town's technology requirements.Setup and configure backup solutions for 43 Windows Servers.Maintain and support the Town's Cisco VOIP infrastructure including installing, adding and removing phones via Cisco Connection Manager and Cisco Unity Voicemail Manager.Develops and administers processes and standards for information security within the Town of Marana's defense in depth information security architecture.Maintains awareness of new threats and counter measures.Directs the work of staff responsible for computer and IT security inside the organization.Performs the role of Disaster Recovery Manager for incidents that result from unauthorized access.Establishes WAN policies, standards, and procedures and ensure adherence to Town of Marana system security proceduresProvides assistance in resolving problems, setting policy, administrative procedures, security, and wide area network planning and direction.Determines appropriate levels of security controls and systems monitoring at all levels of the security architectureConducts periodic vulnerability and security risk assessment of the assets of the Town of Marana, and administers firewalls, IPS, IDS, application firewalls, SIMS, router and switch ACL's, VPN remote access servers, and point-to-point encryption routersIdentifies new and recurring potential security threats and vulnerabilities, assess the risks of these to the Town of Marana and implement appropriate corrective or preventative action.Identifies foreseeable information security risks in order to comply with privacy and information security regulations, policies and proceduresMonitors compliance of information security procedures and policies and report infringements to top managementAudits and review Information Security issues in the organization
