Joined GE Healthcare as Field Service Engineer for the Scottish region.Primary duties were fault rectification on complex Diagnostic Imaging Systems including X-Ray systems and Functional Imaging. Secondary duty was the Quality representative for Scotland.

Joined the UK's Royal Air Force and passed on first attempt a two year training program to be an engineering technician. Was then posted to many different parts of the world, including Belize, most of Europe. Main duties maintaining and troubleshooting equipment failures on complex defence systems normally under critical time constraints. Worked as part of a team with increasing supervisory responsibility commensurate with my experience.
