I am a built environment professional with over 15yrs experience and deep domain knowledge in the specialism of acoustics and creating spaces that are experience driven and environmentally beneficial. My focus is to foster cultural experiences and contribute meaningfully to the environment – within and around our cities. I constantly strive beyond engineering compliance to cultivate positive social and environmental outcomes, whether this be via experience design or advocating for the preservation of acoustic ecology in the natural world.I have had the opportunity to lead a team of 25 amazing engineers and designers at Arup. I bring to the business an entrepreneurial fervour having started my own business as a composer and sound designer over 10 years ago. I am a sessional lecturer at University of New South Wales and University of Technology Sydney where I get to pass on my passions for designing a preferable rather than probable future. I sit on the WELL Sound Concept Advisory as representative for Australia.I lead listening tours with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra for students of Western Sydney University at the Sydney Opera House as part of the Build programme. I volunteer with the Music Therapy department of the Royal Randwick Sydney Childrens Hospital and I am a Surf Life Saver. Being able to use my skills to give back and contribute is of fundamental importance to me.
