My name is Mitchell Volk, and I am a senior Computer Science Major at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. I will be graduating in May, 2024, and I am searching for a position as a Software Engineer. I currently work as Digital Technology Intern at Oshkosh Corporation.I am familiar with essential concepts within object-oriented programming and software engineering, and I have a sound understanding of Java, C#, JavaScript, C, and Git. I also have knowledge of and experience with agile development in software engineering, and have employed productive and effective problem-solving within coursework at the university. I have completed a variety of courses in the past couple of years that makes me well-equipped for a working environment in my field.I have been involved with the Computer Science Club in its activities and projects, serving as the club's Vice-President this past year. In addition, I have been employed as a tutor and lab assistant for the computer science department at the university, where I lead others through various problems, explaining important concepts in an understandable way. Outside of Computer Science, I have also been involved with various events and social gatherings at the on-campus Newman Center, including leading a recent Bible Study. In my time at UW Oshkosh, my involvement in these clubs have helped me grow as a dedicated and positive worker.
