I have completed a placement year with Barclay + Phillips Architects as a part 1 architectural assistant supporting the delivery of small residential through to larger commercial and community scale projects. I have conducted site visits and analysis, been involved in design team discussions and engaged with clients and other construction professionals.I achieved a place at Loughborough University studying Architecture with a current grade of a 2:1 and recently achieved the school’s Teamwork Award. This course has taught me valuable software skills in adobe photoshop and illustrator, CAD software such as AutoCad, Rhino and Grasshopper and other introductions to Premier Pro and Revit.I have been involved with the Wilts and Berks Canal Trust and completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) based on the Trust. This gave me unique experiences meeting the Trust’s head engineer, head fundraiser and head of IT/CAD about ongoing projects within the Trust. The EPQ ( equivalent to an A Level) achieved a grade A for the construction and design project. I have been entered into multiple public art exhibitions around Salisbury and Frome, and achieved the People’s Choice Award from the Young Black Swan Art Gallery. Awarded an Art Scholarship to Warminster School and achieved the Art and Design Awards from Warminster School. I have had previous work experience as a Lifeguard for Centre Pacs which requires an extra National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification (NPLQ) and soft skills in teamwork, quick thinking and customer service.
