Business Operations Manager
CurrentResponsible for managing all daily and long-term goals of package center operations including meeting service commitments and improving center performance. Management of 170 employees during normal operations and 260 during peak operations. Work with key leaders to develop and execute operating plans that achieve business objectives. Ensure staff development by coaching and providing feedback and verifying that employees have career goals and plans. Responsible for meeting operational business requirements including safety, quality, and production goals. Oversee the development and implementation of dispatch plans that maximize efficiency and work through the center management team to ensure that packages are received, processed, and delivered in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. Improve operational performance by identifying trends, prioritize operational tasks, monitor budgets, analyze business activity against short-term and long-term goals, and create business improvement plans to alleviate inefficiencies.
