Dive Master
CurrentPosition of primary responsibility for the health and well-being of other scuba divers. Managing groups of scuba divers with varying levels of skill and experience, while on land, in a boat and under the water during dives. Occasionally helping as a teaching assistant to Scuba Instructors with new Scuba Divers Key Skills;- People Management, keeping on top of the movement of divers. To ensure everyone is on the boat and in the water with a full set of gear. As well as keeping the group together underwater.- Problem Solving, helping other divers when problems occur with their gear and giving solutions- Multi-tasking, maintaining high levels of awareness to spot issues, keeping an idea on the rate of air consumption of other divers. While also navigating and spotting wildlife in sometimes difficult conditions.
